Founded in November 2003, Cottage by the Sea was created to bring together the best jewelry designers, gifts and home decor in a cottage-style boutique setting. People loved the quaint feeling of the cottage atmosphere and everyone wanted our unique vintage style furniture and fixtures. From flea markets and estate sales, our fixtures and furniture pieces soon became one of Cottage by the Sea's main attractions. People wanted their homes, baby rooms or guest rooms to look and feel like Cottage by the Sea and people began coming in weekly just to see our displays and furniture finds for sale.

People also took note of our inspirational jewelry ~ necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings made out of the finest metals and bearing words of wisdom like "live love laugh" or "seek balance, find happiness." Our jewelry makes people feel good and gives us a gentle reminder how delicate and special life is. Soon, our jewelry was being requested for wedding shower gifts, get-well gifts, birthday and anniversary gifts! People love that our jewelry is truly hand-made and straight from the heart!
